Welcome to the STEM ED Network, home of TUteach and STEM Community Programs!
The STEM ED Network offers programs that integrate science and mathematics scholarship with education, laboratory projects and pedagogical research. Our “teaching majors” are full science majors and include pedagogy and field experiences. Students completing one of these majors have two full credentials, a baccalaureate degree in the STEM discipline and a Pennsylvania Level I teaching certificate.
STEM majors and TUteach students have many opportunities to participate in STEM internships on campus and in our community. Programs for in-service teachers include advanced workshops, technology infused STEM instruction, teachers continuing professional education and more.
These programs are housed in the Allegra Family Math and Science Teacher Education Center. Come visit us in Gladfelter Hall and meet our faculty and master teachers!
