The STEM Ed Network takes pride with having a community-based foundation, while offering a broad range of (STEM) programmatic activities that have an international scope.  This is evidenced by year-round administration, faculty and staff assignments that oversee programs that serve the entire K-16 student learning community.

Housed in the Allegra Family Math & Science Teacher Education Center, our TUteach program has eight Bachelor of Science (BS) degree offerings.   Matriculating students integrate science and mathematics scholarship with education.  Receiving an intense balance of discipline-specific STEM coursework, teaching pedagogy and teaching field experiences, graduating students are rewarded with the essential tools and program requirements that lead to a state of Pennsylvania Level I teaching certificate.

Programs for in-service teachers include advanced workshops, technology-infused STEM instruction, continuing professional education, and more.

Via the STEM ED Network's elective course offerings, matriculating students within the College of Science and Technology (CST) have many opportunities to participate in STEM internships on campus and in our community.   In addition, the STEM Ed Network runs a variety of STEM-focused programs for kids and young adults from Kindergarten to 12th grade.  These include summer camps (residential or not) as well as programs that take place during the academic year to enrich student understanding and stimulate further interest in STEM.
