Mohit Patel, Ph.D.
I am an experienced scientist and a dedicated teacher, currently working on projects involving analytical method development and validation of pharmaceutical drugs extracted from biological matrices with central focus on studying novel luminescence based detection. Other research areas of interest include developing new inorganic fluorescent probes which are stable at higher oxidation state and have analytical applications in biological conditions. - Expertise in molecular characterization using various spectroscopic techniques, biochemistry, organic synthesis and quantum computations.
- Extensive experience in analytical method development using analytical instruments such as LC-ESI-MS, MALDI, HPLC-UV, GC-MS, FT-IR, UV-VIS, Spectrofluorometer and NMR.
- Experience in synthesizing and characterizing doped PMMA polymers using electron microscopy, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Thermogravimetry (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC).
